Job Duties:

• Structural design based on static and dynamic analysis in various building materials for residential, commercial and industrial projects;

• Structural analysis in existing and/or new buildings to provide the structural package included drawings and calculations for jurisdictional review and permit application;

• Resolving the plan check comments in accordance with the Building Codes and local Amendments;

• Response to plan check comments from plan examiners, coordinate with other project professions such as architect, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer etc. in order to clear the plan check comments until application package approval and permit granted;

• Review manufacturer and/or construction shop drawings.

The incumbent to possess the following qualities:
Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

• Proficient in AutoCad, Revit, ENERCALC, Retain Pro, SAP2000, RISA-2D, RISA-3D, Hilti PROFIS Anchor, Simpson Strong-Tie Designer

• Technical intelligence with regard to building systems and having an attention to structural details

• Design ability that is critically thoughtful, conceptually based and process-oriented

• Knowledge of Building Codes and regulatory standards

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
