Job Duties:

• Structural analysis in existing and/or new buildings to provide the structural package including drawings and calculations for jurisdictional review and permit application.

• Review manufacturer and/or construction shop drawings.

• Identifies applicable codes, standards, or other design requirements.

• Prepare plan documents and supporting design calculations.

• Provide professional documents (memos, letters, reports, etc.) on structural design-build related issues.

• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects.

• Coordinate with other disciplines and support services.

• Review plans and prepare review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.

• Response to plan check comments from plan examiners.

• Inspect project sites to ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

The incumbent to possess the following qualities:
Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering

• 6 months of Civil Engineer or related experience.

• Education or experience must include structural analysis using Risa3D, Hilti PROFIS Anchor, Simpson Strong-Tie Designer, and CFS Designer, as well as design and construction documents preparation using AutoCAD and Revit.
